Interesting cocktails but suitably expensive! Good service when you get attention but can be slow to get attention. Nice seats outside. Make sure you check out the toilets very cool artwork.

Tucked away in a small alley on a valetta side street you will find the best cocktails in malta. The staff will provide you with stories, conversations, and food recommendations. There is a private room upstairs for larger parties. The drinks are not cheap but not overly expensive either. Water is complimentary and so are the bar snacks. The thing I picked up on the most was that the bartenders (mixologists) always tasted the drink after making it (with a spoon of course) to ensure they got it just right. A first class bar with first class staff that serves first class drinks. Must stop for at least one cocktail. My favorite tasting drink was the antique fumar.

Without a doubt the best cocktails on the island.Price is on the expensive side but you pay for what you get. Staff should be more friendlier but it's ok.

Outstanding and imaginative craft cocktails, some originals and some very creative twists on established favorites, assigned to various countries around the world. Our favorite from the five we tried (a difficult choice, because all were great) was the “Space Cake Martini” representing the Netherlands. Essentially an espresso martini, but note the ingredients: Tonka Bean Vodka, Advokatt, Espresso-Stout Syrup, and Buttered Caramel Foam. And because it represents the Netherlands, presented with a smoking (albeit fake) spleef. A fun place with a fun cocktail menu.

A bit further away from the main touristic part of the city, this place offers exceptional cocktails. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the bartender just works wonders.

This is a place to enjoy cocktails, not only to drink them. The bartenders have really good knowledge of which mix goes together, so they even mixed me things that were not on the regular menu.

Lovely spot and service. We went slightly earlier than others but received great advice and service. The cocktails were all very unique and unusual but an opportunity to try something new or different.

At the bottom of the bunch of cocktail bars of Strait Street, there is Alchemy. The venue has a sophisticated furniture mixing contemporary and modern style. Cocktails are amazing. The bartenders are very professional and they explain you every detail of the cocktail chosen or they provide you with a tailored advice based on your preferences. Cocktails are fancy, featuring unusual ingredients or combinations, for example coconut ice, gin, cloves sake and bergamot. Every sip is a pleasure.

In the heart of the Valetta, Alchemy offers a 5star cocktail experience. Big variety of tastes and very good presentation. Staff well informed and friendly with experience. We arrived after midnight and we stayed till the closing. In Malta there are no many late night bars so we were happy to find Alchemy. Be prepared to spend some money but I assure you it totally worth it !

I love Alchemy! Their bar staff are properly trained and skilled mixologists and they are passionate about great cocktails. Their menu is well-curated, often with staff choices and creations on there. But, if you don't fancy anything listed, they can create something off-menu for you. Either tell them what you want exactly or tell them what kind of flavours you like and they'll make something tailored to you. I have never been disappointed with a drink here. They are quite a bit more expensive than the usual '2 for 1' cocktail bars but you're getting top-quality ingredients, mostly homemade (infusions and tinctures) and top-notch service.

These are not cheap cocktails, but they are amazing. So much effort and thought are put into it and the service was amazing. We all had something different and enjoyed them all, there are plenty to choose from. Attention to detail like water and complimentary snacks given to us as well as helpful advice when choosing made this a great visit.

I was dripping in a fabulous world in central Valletta. Amazing cocktails, perfect service and magical interiors. You don't see it anywhere else, I definitely suggest you try it. Can't wait to go to Malta again!

After walking past Alchemy the day before I wanted to go and have my birthday drinks with my partner. We were welcomed in and seated with a bowl of popcorn and the menus. As a vegan there were some drinks I thought I could not have, however this was not an issue at all!! The drinks can be called pricey, but you get exactly what you pay for. incredible service and drinks!! They do complimentary sun dried tomato hummus (made by the staff) and every drink has attention and care included! A great place that I wish I could bring back to the UK with me!
