We had an amazing meal at Bahia, super service and transport to/from our hotel. The manager gave really excellent advice on the dishes and also the wine. The menu is really different and the food was amazing. If you are in Malta and want to eat somewhere special then this is the place but book ahead!

If you like fine dinning you need to visit this gem at least once. Slightly on the expensive side but worth every penny of it.

Came to this fantastic restaurant for Christmas Eve which had an incredible set menu with wine pairing. We were a family of 4 and everything was perfectly catered for every person. Super service from the waiters and particularly from the Head Waiter. Will definitely return.

Excellent as always; if anything, getting better. The risotto with tartufo (which had just arrived from Italy) was super. Dessert was also fantastic. Service was also excellent.

A restaurant to remember. Outstanding food, both in flavor and presentation, great service, lovely location but regrettably, service speed is glacially slow.

We had heard for ages that this restaurant was excellent, and when we visited we then returned another two times in the same week! The ambience, staff and entire concept is top-notch. Their menu changes frequently, and gets full marks from us. But moreover they often have special events/ menus; which you really need to look out for because they are very special. In particular the all vegan menu was truly exceptional.
A big well done to all.

Very good food and service. The location is so homely. Well done and keep up the great service. We were helped to choose the best food. We liked being pampered. We will come back soon for sure.

Set in a small village this fabulous restaurant offers beautiful food, complex mix of ingredients all served by efficient friendly staff.
Wherever you are in Malta it is 100% worth the trip to dine in this fabulous restaurant. Both the chef and Manager are from Malta and have worked together for many years, including stints at top London hotels.
All recommendations by the staff were excellent from the choice of wine to the accurate description of the specials. The catch of the day, Grouper was cooked to perfection allowing the subtle flavour of the fish to dominate. Deserts looked like a work of art, sadly we were too full to eat one but the other guests seemed to enjoy them.
Superb standard of food, excellent value for money.

We appreciated the taxi transfers to the restaurant and the menu was innovative. On the mid-week evening that we went, the restaurant was less than half full but that’s not bad for a somewhat out-of-the-way place. The food was just a bit underwhelming. I could hardly taste the smoked eel in the starter and I returned the fish main because it was barely cooked. I was assured that the fish was cooked at 60 degrees. That was maybe so but I concluded it had not been held at that temperature for long enough because the inside of the fish was cold whereas the outside was warm. It was replaced. The glass of white wine I requested was from the end of the bottle which was simply up-ended into the glass.

lovely atmosphere, very nice staff, good wine list and recommendation, elaborate menu, surprising yet very successful food associations... we loved our evening at Bahia! Not cheap, but definitely worth the visit for the high quality of the food and excellent service.

This is a fabulous restaurant. The service is friendly and unobtrusive. The ambiance is relaxed. The setting is interesting. And the food..... the food is absolutely divine. From the warm bread to the complimentary mini cup of soup to the mains. Everything was delicious. The menu changes frequently but when we were there I had pork belly and my husband had beef cheek. Neither of us like turnip but there was a turnip side dish that was out of this world. Portions are generous so we had no space for dessert. I highly recommend this place. If we had more time in Malta we would definitely be going back.

We’ve been meaning to go for a long time and weren’t disappointed.
Excellent maitre d’ greeted us and escorted us to our table. The staff are probably the best you’ll find in Malta today.
Mans the exciting food creations made it difficult to choose.
It’s obvious that everyone working at Bahia from the chef through the dining room staff thoroughly enjoy their jobs and are proud about their restaurant.
Some of the most creative dishes to be found anywhere. Not cheap (€250 for four including 2 bottles of quality wine, and tips) but definitely value for money.
A very pleasant ey, to be repeated soon.

Was given a voucher for Father’s Day and was impressed by the way food was prepared and presented. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing from the time we were greeted by the host. Host was really helpful when choosing from the menu, recommending specialties. Really enjoyed I highly recommend.

This is the kind of place you want to shout over the rooftops about. I have converted just about half my family and they all come here for special occasions, anniversaries... find an excuse and come here! Bahia is consistently excellent and ever evolving. Change is the norm here with a constantly updated seasonal menu, but rest assured it will never let you down!
Sheer brilliance - keep up the amazing work. I even mentioned not having left handed cutlery and the owner delivered a special left handed spoon to my door unrequested... now that is customer experience :)

We were recommended this place by the Corinthia Palace, which has arranged a free taxi service from the hotel to this restaurant, which was much needed because it is hard to find.
We ate here on our last night - a Tuesday and the place was virtually empty (only two diners when we arrived) and just 6 when we left at around 9.45pm - so place lacking in atmosphere - which is a shame because the food is really good. Beautifully presented and delicious.
They brought warm breads and olive oil/salt while we were making our selection from the menu.
Hubby started with the “Ajo Bianco”, Broccoli, Green Grapes, Confit Egg Yolk Purée, Almonds, Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which he said was particularly good. There wasn't a vegan starter on the menu - so they made a butternut squash risotto for me - it was great - large helping so my hubby helped me with it so I'd still have room for my main.
For mains - hubby had Slow Cooked Chicken Breast, Thigh Terrine, Watercress, Asparagus and Summer Truffle - again very good even though he's not a fan of cream sauces. I had the vegan Beetroot Cooked Three Ways – Falafel / Hummus / Salt Baked, Marinated and Foamed Tofu, Ruby Grapefruit, Puffed Amaranth - which I really enjoyed too.
Wine - they didn't have the one we asked for so brought an alternative, which we were pleased to see was less expensive than what we'd asked for, which was a bonus.
Only vegetarian option for dessert was ice cream/sorbet and I didn't fancy that so we gave puddings and coffee a miss. Would be good to have more vegetarian/vegan options across the menu - but what I had i did enjoy.
