Goloso Gastro Bar & Pizzeria

We came just for drinks during their happy hour. They had a good range of choice on their menu. Hard to chose, but we went for mojitos in the end. 1 passion fruit and 1 mango. It seems round here the 2 for 1 happy hour deal has to be the same drink. Our waitress was so lovely and said we could pick different flavours for the mojitos which went down a treat. 2 cocktails for €6... can’t really go wrong!

Really big portions! It was very tasty (falafel dish, anchovy pasta) and it was quite quick made. Very adequate price. Happy hour for alco drinks about 4 p.m. (it means you’ll have +1 drink for free). Smoothies are also good. Strongly recommend!

Couldn’t rate this restaurant any higher the staff were so helpful, the food was lovely (I recommend the lobster ravioli) and the prices were very reasonable too. A must go if you are visiting Malta!

We order a cappuccino and an espresso, amazing coffee at a decent price! We also order a bruschetta and a spicy chicken ftira for two and it was enough! Both were amazingly done and the bread was really crunchy. The staff is super friendly and not pushy what I really appreciate. We will be returning here!

Made it just in time to catch breakfast before they switched to the lunchtime menu. Really pleased that we caught it as the full English was amazing and just what we needed. Very friendly service that was attentive and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

We were in st Julian’s for 1 week and visited this bar 3 times. The cocktails are very nice and exceptionally good price while it is happy hour. Also the bruschetta and focaccia were lovely. Service was fast, friendly and spoke excellent English.

Great food. I had the chicken curry on a ftira and my wife had the spicy lamb wrap. Both were excellent. They do 2 for 1 cocktails from 3 which was great and the beer cones in a glass straight from the freezer so it's nice and cold. Will definitely go back and try some of the other choices on the menu. The pasta that the people at the table beside us were having looked amazing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

We've been here for lunch and dinners on our holiday, the staff are amazing and the prices are too! So many food options - we'll be back for a third time during our trip I'm sure.

Tonight is our fourth time eating at this restaurant. We have returned as the service and food is definitely 5 stars I shall be returning again before going home as there is so much choice on the menu and what comes out is absolutely delicious. We have tried a few other restaurants on the island but this is by far our favourite. The staff are very friendly too.

The food here is great, I had the rabbit lunetti which was around €9-10 which was a lot cheaper than other restaurants offered for their rabbit dishes and was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I wish we'd had time to come back a second time.

Just had breakfast here - one got full English and other got scrambled eggs with bacon. Both delicious and really good service to match the good food. Nice smoothies too - highly recommended!

Had fantastic pl blueberry pancake with yogurt, coffe can be improved but overall they have nice choice including Italian cornetto filled with marmelade. Plus very kind service.

My to go to place for a quick take away coffee or for meeting a friend to sit outdoors facing Balluta Bay. Service is always great, coffee delicious (vegan milk options offered) and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Cafe has a nice outdoor area, but this was full, so headed indoors. Service was friendly and efficient (a treasure in itself in Malta), very good vegan breakfast and also omelettes too. Coffee is also very good too. Would return

We visited this cafe several times during our stay in Malta. The service & food was exceptional every time. After our first visit the owner remembered my almond latte coffee order, this shows me I wasn’t just another number walking through his doors. I would highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Popped in for coffee and owner was incredibly welcoming and made it very clear that all customers are as welcome as one another, whether just popping in for coffee or staying for 3 course dinner. He made sure we had a nice table and was very friendly.
