The widest selection of fish found in Valletta and surroundings. We've tried the sea bass and the red snapper - both fresh. The accompanying salad and potatoes were very tasty as well. Outdoor and outside sitting. The service could be improved, also the cleanliness of the place. Only one toilette available for the entire place.

Had lunch here when we first arrived in Valetta. Started with the fish cakes which were good, then the scallops which were sensational. Then we shared the seafood rice which was delightful. The setting right at the waters edge is lovely, staff are very good and the prices very reasonable for such fresh and high quality seafood. Definitely going back. Highly recommend

Great food and great service. I had fresh fish and it was delicious (5€/100g). Next time I'm in Malta I am getting back here

Fantastic restaurant with stunning seafood. It's on the seafront with views out from valetta. Friendly staff and quick service despite being fully booked.
The slow cooked octopus was incredible. Highly recommend!
Worth booking ahead as we were lucky to get a table.

Cockneys, in a great location just next to the water taxi and ferry stop, is a Valletta institution. There's a boat-like wooden cabin with a cosy interior, and a sunny terrace. Food is tasty and traditional, including dishes like spaghetti with rabbit.

Stopped for a coffee while waiting for the ferry. Staff were friendly and welcoming, coffee was strong and exactly what we needed. Fresh orange juice was tasty for our seven year old.

Went here for lunch. The seafood pasta was nice and flavorful. My only complaint is that the mussels could have used some cleaning. They still had a lot of barnacles and beards attached to them. Other than that, great place to eat. Friendly staff as well.

This place is a tiny bit difficult to get to if you don't have a map or knowledge of the area but it's definitely worth the numerous treks downhill to get there. When I asked for king prawns, I was expecting something smaller but that's definitely not a complaint! The amaretto coffee and fish cakes were delicious too and the service was impeccable. Would definitely recommend if you like your seafood!
