Last Sunday me and my wife were for a day out in the capital city and we saw this Menu outside that caught our attentions, meanwhile the waitress come to show us a couple of more stuff they had that is not on the menu, we are a little bit picky about our food so we had a couple of questions and the waitress answered them patiently, anyways we took two Bruschetta for starter and a couple of beers, after we took 2 seafood pasta which was incredibly delicious, and finally the dessert we took apple pie and mint cake which i cant stop craving for 😋 Any ways Amazing food guys and Great service just want to thank the chef and especially our waitress Grazziella for giving us the best time, The next you will see us again for sure.

Very convenient for all the sights. We stopped for a snack lunch and bottle of local wine. We enjoyed a meat and cheese platter and melanziana parmigiano. Both were excellent. The young lady waitress was efficient and helpful. A hidden delight. Highly recommended.

Galea's serves delicious food and has great service.
During a six day stay in Malta we had lunch at Galea's three times - each time the food and service were excellent.

I have been to the Salon, and Cafe as well, a couple of times and I have always been very satisfied. The food is always very fresh - pastizzi are delicious! - and nicely prepared and my favourite hairdresser, Frida, is very professional and friendly. Not to be missed while in Valletta!

You could easily walk past this cafe, but you will be glad you didn’t. It is long and narrow as are so many cafes in Valletta and you choose your food from the warmer display at the front before taking a seat inside. We had tuna fitara and timpana and both were delicious, the timpana was huge and easily fills you up for the day.

Galea's Cafe Salon in Merchant Street, Valetta can provide you with a haircut as well as a coffee and something to eat. Housed in an old traditional limestone building it offers a selection of light bites - cakes, pies, sandwiches, ftiras etc. You'll be surprised at the size of the portions which are all served up efficiently and with a smile. We've lunched there several times and never been disappointed. Seating is all indoors. Galea's is well supported by locals which probably speaks for itself. Recommended.

We ordered from the menu because from what we saw they were definitely smaller than the menu options. The restaurant only has limited space so the dishes they put out are pretty simple but tasty. We ordered the Maltese platter and it was tasty but you would need more if you are hungry.

We were looking for something light to est before dinner time and we found this place. It's a hairdresser on the back and a nice coffee at front, with tablets on the street. Order a sandwich, big enought to Share, and too glasses of wine.
Spent 11,50€

In need of a refreshing drink and some food, we came across Galea's cafe whilst walking down Merchant's Street (pedestrianised area) and the cafe was doing buy one get one free on the Aperol Spritz, so we grabbed a table outside and ordered the drinks plus the Maltese Platter. It was then we spotted the amazing selection of pies and pastries in the cafe entrance so we succumbed to a huge slice of cold Chicken pie, which was amazing!
Hot day, cool drinks and good food...we sat there watching the world go by...tourists, locals, people in suits going in and out of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs...just a great place. The waitress was clearly working hard, may be short staffed that day, but just by being friendly to her she was friendly back....someone near to us was clearly being abrupt towards her so that's what they got back.
