We go quite regularly. The pizza is divine. The salads are massive. Take away is also an option. And it’s pretty fast.

Our third time here and surely not going to be our last. Beautiful food and prompt service. Parking not a problem. Portions are generous. Highly recommended.

First of all, I would to start off by saying that if you will be visiting this restaurant, make sure you get a pizza. The pizza is simply delightful and will definitely not disappoint. This is not saying that the other food options are bad, it's just my opinion. Service could be better, but is adequate overall. Lastly, I would like to mention that while this is far from a fast food restaurant, the dull white lighting makes it feel like one. This problem can be very easily fixed, which will in turn create a warm atmosphere that this restaurant deserves.

As an old hand at visiting Malta I thought there were no great restaurants left to discover. I'm delighted to say I was wrong! Although this is outside the 'tourist trap' of Sliema/St Julian's it is well worth the trip. What makes this place special is the absolute passion for great food that cascades from the owner down across all the staff. Fresh ingredients, lively and contemporary atmosphere, and a pizza dough amongst the best I have tasted. Thoroughly recommended.

Food is good and they offer gluten free food. However much is left to be desired by the service. First we were going to sit on a table and one of the staff said that we could sit on a reserved one and she would put the reserved sign on another table. After 2 minutes we were asked to switch tables. No problem. Then we weren't given the specials. We had to ask staff several times for the bill. At least before we left one of the staff members apologised for the service..

Restaurants live by recommendation and they want feedback from their customers so they can correct things, make them happy and hope they will spread the word for them. The criticism on Trip Advisor was in general positive, reason why I went ahead with my grandson to La Siciliana in Mdina Road, Attard.
Sifting through their website they portray themselves as Pizzaioli from as early as 1970. In fact, the menu displays a large variety of Pizzas, some gluten-free or lactose-free. They also serve Schiacciate a type of flatbread made with flour, water, yeast, salt, and olive oil. Schiacciata literally means “squashed” (in a way similar to our Maltese ftira). These are filled either with pulled pork, chicken, parma ham or salmon. Pasta is also available.
However, grandson did not fancy any Pizza or Pasta so we opted for a selection of 3 types of meat… Grigliata di Carne having one piece of horse meat, beef, and chicken. The meat was slightly overcooked but chewable however overpriced at €27 considering the quality of meat on offer. Another plate we shared was Grilled Calamari and Prawns. The calamari was not fresh and so they missed that seawater freshness. Prawns were OK. Both plates were served with a layer of fresh salad and fine chips on the side.
Total bill came to €66 tips inclusive. The bill incorporated one Focaccia Caprese that we had as a starter, two sweets for dessert and two bottles of water. One espresso was graciously offered for free. Service was acceptable and accommodating if you know English or Italian.

Chef came out to tell us about the specials and took our order. Our waitress didn’t speak any English but she swapped with a colleague who did and we had no problems. Prawn & zucchini risotto was gorgeous and my hubby’s pizza was excellent and totally huge in size. Wine is ok, supermarket quality at best. Great value for money. Only let down is the outside seating area. It’s very exposed and beside the main road. It could benefit from some Soundproofing. The indoor area is fine and much less noisy. Would come back

I had been looking forward to visit La Siciliana since I heard about how good it was from friends. It did not disappoint. We tried pastry based dishes and pasta. The granita was also nice. We tried the almond, watermelon and lemon flavours. Excellent experience. Will visit more frequently.

This restaurant was so good we went twice. Varied menu with daily specials. They have won trophies for their pizzas. Food was well cooked and presented. Staff very helpful. Would highly recommend a visit here

Very helpful staff, reasonable prices, good service and above all good food . Comfortable seating, smoking area outside. And don’t forget to try a Sicilian dessert.

I expected really good food after reading reviews but it did not live up to my expectations. My Caesar salad was far too big and the bacon was very fatty when it have been crispy. My husband did enjoy his pulled pork burger though and the ice cream was good. It was over priced for what we had.

Our visit to this AMAZING place was not our first time and definitely not our last! This time we decided to celebrate both father's day and his birthday. The relaxed atmosphere together with the great food and the friendly staff, in particular, Luca and Diana, made this occasion memorable indeed! We look forward to our next visit..to try the tiramisu which Diana HIGHLY recommended hahaha

Not only do they do great pizzas they also have an amazing Sauvignon Blanca which is organic and vegan and cheaper by the bottle than most hotels charge for a glass.
Luca is a really friendly bloke who made us feel really welcome. His English is great although he says he struggles, much better than my Maltese. Give it a try,you won’t be disappointed.

A nice place where to have your lunch or dinner with friends, in couple or even if you decide to go solo! Great food to choose from in Attard.

We chose La Siciliana as it was one of the few restaurants open in Attard on a Sunday evening. Friendly, casual atmosphere. Great choice of pasta and even more so of pizzas, with a gourmet pizza section that had more unusual toppings. The pizza dough eas exactly how we like it, light and crispy, and the toppings were different from the usual, with things like swordfish, aubergine, pistachio and almonds (not necessarily in that order in a single pizza!). It had a warm ambiance and seemed popular with the locals. We also took home some Sicilian almond pastries which went down very well with coffee. To top it off, the food was reanoably priced.

This place was recommended by a colleague. I booked a table for 12people to celebrate a family birthday. The antipasti were good and pizza even better. I chose Valletta, a pizza gourmet, with mixed mushrooms, bacon and truffle. Loved it. My 9 year old wants to go back for another Valletta.
