Serving staff was very friendly, food was delicious with a pleasant presentation. Price was slightly on the high side, but for those who appreciate fine dining it is worth the money.

A restaurant in conjunction with a hotel, with really nice service and ambiance. The restaurant had jazz and lounge music in the background, which was really nice. And high-end plates, with still more than enough to eat.

We went here on new years eve for the taster menu. The food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. We had our five year old with us and they made her feel like a princess. We had a wonderful night and can't recommend it enough. One of the best family friendly fine dining restaurants we have visited.

Poses as a fine dining restaurant and in many ways it is. However there is need for attention to detail. Amuse Buche and starter arrive together. In 30 mins we had eaten amuse buche, starter and mains. Felt like we were pushed to turn around tables. Food was good with minor errors, such as lack of crisp in duck and a take on mqaret served cold....i mean mqaret in any way or form cant be cold. However the food was otherwise good. Pricing is fair. With some effort it can get 4 to 4.5 easy.

🤗 food and service were excellent. Prices reasonable. Lovely view of marina. Not crowded and quiet ambience. Only problem with raw fish plate.. caused some tummy ache. And bathroom should be upgraded... only one functioning, not enough lights and no liquid soap was available.

Rarely do you go to a restaurant where your expectation is surpassed. This restaurant on the surface appears to be nothing more than a restaurant attached to a funky contemporary hotel. But it has a character, service and food that is excellent and at a third of the cost of what you would pay in London. A straightforward, simple menu spread over four courses. Wonderful night out

We had a drink outside on the terrace and the waiter who was inside for sure kept an eye in anticipation, bringing extra glass or dinner menu promptly when required. Inside, the service was IMPECCABLE and the food EXQUISITE, simply to die for. The evening was FAULTLESS and we did not want it to end. The place was running on a skeleton staff of 3, the Manager Guiseppi doubled as barman, waiter and hospitality manager; and nothing was too much trouble for our waiter Mark who was cheerful and warm. This place has simply elevated to one of my BEST restaurants in the world, well worth the plane trip just to sample its food and service. I will be back!!

We stumbled on this place totally by accident and so glad that we did. It looked very smart from the outside (which it was), however it was so relaxed and welcoming you didn't feel at all aware of it. We chose from the ala carte menu and could’ve happily picked all of options available. The food was fantastic (easily the best meal we had in Malta), beautifully presented food, innovative and delicious. Our waiter was absolutely charming, attentive but not intrusive, and made us feel so welcome and very much at home. Whilst the bill wasn’t cheap per se, for what we had (food, cocktails, wine) and the amazing quality of the whole experience, it was very reasonable and totally worth every euro. We came back for a pre-dinner cocktail a couple of nights later and received the same warm welcome. A must if you’re in this end of town. Will definitely recommend it to friends coming out to visit Malta.

We spent an awesome evening at Hammet’s Macina Restaurant. The 5-course Menu was throughout delicious and the waiters were attentive and friendly. It seems that its hard to get a table though 😉

The service was poor. As no wine list was tabled my friend asked for Chardonnay and an inferior wine was presented. We both ordered pork belly and it was overcooked. The menu was very limited.

Malta Foodies...Do Not Miss! The Hammett offers both tasting Menu and Individual selections. Several items stand out Tomato Risotto, Lingot of Dark Chocolate, Tuna, and Stracciatella Di Bufala. Service was impeckable! You will not be disappointed.

For most of our trip, we were happy eating in the little cafe's by the marina, but for a more formal evening out, we chose Hammett's Macina. The decor and ambiance were charming and the food was absolutely delicious.
