Mint a gem for good eating. Have been coming here for 4 years almost every day when on the island.
The staff are friendly and there is always a welcoming smile.
The food ranges from delicious and very healthy salads and home cooked dishes. I particularly like their New Zealand sausage roll. To delicious and not so healthy puddings cakes, muffins and tarts.

Some people would call this quirky, but I like that. The place has its own way of doing things and they do it really well. Including a variety of milks to suit all palettes.

Lovely offering of all types of home made savoury and sweet things. Really good coffee and delicious fresh juices. Only difficulty is to choose which to have!

The only cafe restaurant to offer Soy milk. They serve vegetarian, gluten free food and sometime you can find vegan foods, such as vegan lasagne. Good atmosphere, Wi-Fi, great staff, delicious food.

What a fabulous lunch spot. Located on the far side of Sliema overlooking the crashing sea, we walked in the hot mid-day sun all through the ancient streets enjoying the coolness of the shade when we found it until we found Mint. A perfect spot for respite from the hot sun. By the time we got there the patio was receding into the shade.
We ate moussaka, chicken pie, brownies and iced coffee, enjoying the blueness of the sea and sun and the sumptuous food. The wait staff was youngish and enthusiastic. I hope they make it thru Corvid-19 intact.

We always stop here a couple of times whilst in Malta. the best cakes on the island. Delicious home made cakes with a cuppa or hot chocolate always goes down well.
Right on the sea front in Sliema, its a must for a rest stop.

Excellent vegetarian food . We had grilled ciabatta sandwich with avocado , mozzarella , tomato, pesto , carrot cakes and side salad .The sandwich was excellent . Salad was very fresh tasty . Carrot cake was full of flavour . The staff are really helpful . The location is great on Tower road , on the Promenade. I would highly recommend!

There is an endless selection of dishes for all tastes, both sweet and savory. It doesn’t only feature “healthy” food, they’ve got some amazing sandwiches that will definitely leave you satisfied. Their portions are quite hefty, so there’s no need to worry about leaving hungry. If you’re looking for something that will satisfy your hunger, but won’t make you feel guilty THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! Most importantly, their products/ingredients are all fresh and of amazing quality.
Strongly recommend: chocolatechip-pecan cookie, orange cake (gluten & dairy free), banana bread, vegetable wrap with feta and dried tomatoes.

The food is rather good! Lovely fresh display of what you can order from amazing sandwiches to pasta to salads to CAKES!! Moussaka was lovely and so was the chicken and pasta bake. Many vegan options available. Coffee is great and so are the juices. It appears to be run by someone with an NZ background which you can sense. Had some of the best food in NZ and this place is worth a visit when in Malta. We went twice. It’s busy!!

We fell in love with this little coffee shop during our stay in Malta. Not only is the coffee great, but they are delicious breakfast options and baked goods. We never made it for lunch, however, everything on the menu looked fantastic.

I went twice with my girlfriend to order some lunch and some cakes. Everything was homemade and they had several cakes, cookies and lunch items that were gluten free. They also had good knowledge about gluten. I strongly recommend this cafe if you want homemade gluten free products.

We were very impressed with their breakfast menu. There is such a variety we went there every morning for 5 days and never got tired of it!

I’ve been to Mint quite a few times for breakfast and what’s most striking is that the prices are really good considering it’s in one of the hub-cities of Malta. I’ve mostly ordered their toasts, which comes with some free sallad, and a fresh juice of own choice. €5,50 is what I paid for the lot. Hard to beat the price to value ratio in a fairly food-expensive city (compared to more remote cities/villages I’ve been to).
Mint has some tight opening hours, 8-16 and occasionally they’re closed on weekends but they open during certain periods depending on season.
Can be a bit busy during tourist seasons as most other restaurants as well. Good food, juices, smoothies, coffee and pastries for the prices. Vegan and vegetarian options. Quick service and very kind staff.
Will return!

So glad we found Mint, this place was our saviour during our Europe travels. Kiwis, if you need a bit of home and a decent coffee, do not miss Mint! First good coffee I've found after weeks travelling in Europe. That friendly, efficient service that we're used to back home. Incredible cabinet food with a good mix of healthy options (so hard to find usually!). Cool vibe, NZ summer jams, attentive staff... we LOVED it. We even came back again.
Hands down best cafe I've been to in Europe. It's hard impressing the three of us well-travelled, London-dwelling kiwis but Mint did it! Sweet as bro, we'll be recommending this place to everyone we know!! Ka pai!

Spent a week in Sliema went here for breakfast every morning. Loved the food, the staff, the cold brew coffee, and the non-smoking patio is an mini oasis. Try the sweet snacks and the breakfast panini!
