The menu is exquisite!! All the food looks delicious and it's hard to chose just one. The service is very good and accommodating. They really try to accommodate your needs. Highly recommend it!!

Nice place and the food is really good

Built in an ancient windmill, this place is charming. The service was really kind and the food was good. Normal price for money (Maltese comparison)

I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat. Their food is amazing, especially their Shellfish soup, and their staff are impressive, they are very attentive and service was always spot on.

We enjoyed a really nice meal on a public holiday. Food was very good, excellent service and a truly fantastic setting. Well done.

We ate dinner at Mithna on our last night in Malta. Having found the food on the island to be generally quite poor, this was a welcome change. We had three courses and the food was of high quality, service good and great ambience in an interesting building. Lots of good vegetarian options. My only complaint was that the music choice was a little strange for a nice restaurant - I felt like I was in a club! Something a bit more relaxing would have been more appropriate. However, I can't fault this restaurant and would highly recommend.

We were there for Christmas Lunch, enjoyed it so much that we went back for New Years Day. Both meals were a set menu with multiple courses. Lots of options including vegetarian and vegan options. Service was very good and I would especially like to thank Cheryl who was spectacular. There is a full bar available and a expansive wine list. For the quality of food provided the prices were reasonable.

Visited this restaurant a historic windmill dating back to the 17th century. Fantastic place with a lot of history. Food was just perfect . It was a family outing which we really enjoyed. We started with the Maltese Platter and then as main course I had the traditional fresh rabbit which was so tender and delicious. The other members of the family had salmon and the 700 grams Beef tagliata which was cut by a professional Maltese member of the staff, friendly and so experienced, As dessert we had the date rolls mqarret. I must say we had a perfect evening in a beautiful setting and sumptuous food. We will surely return.

I visited Mithna expecting very good things but left slightly disappointed. Setting wise it’s lovely, beautiful inside and welcoming with friendly service. Positives...it looks the part, lovely bread and dips, food fresh and well presented and staff brilliant. Negatives...drafty and quite cold, music loud and appropriate, seafood soup was flavoursome but gritty as the bisque probably hadn’t been passed through a sieve, €4.50 for CANNED lager is simply inexcusable! In summary, looks great but value for money wise i wouldn’t return.

Very well known restaurant among all the local residents, counted as very good one and was built on the 17th century as a windmill and since 2016 place is runned as a restaurant. Interesting atmosphere, traditional dishes, we've tried traditional dish maltese rabbit and also slow-cooked lamb, was nice, just maybe not really our's taste. Good service, maltese lady waiter served us all evening, was very professional, friendly, helpful, talkative & informative.

We went to this restaurant expecting some great local cuisine but left with a mixture of feelings. It took over an hour for the food to be delivered. Fish soup was good, so were the mussels but tuna puff pastry was not, pork belly tasted pretty ordinary, not gingery at all. Local platter was good. Overall, it was fine but nothing special.

Nice meal but they added 18% VAT on top, meaning their menu prices did not include VAT. Deceptive and mean. Would be illegal in most European countries, surely.

We visited this restaurant off the back of other very good TA reviews.
The meal was exceptional, serving really good quality food and drink which exceeds the quality of many of the other local restaurants, which are more typical of a holiday resort.
I had the duck breast main and my partner, the rabbit. Both were exceptional and very generous in terms of portion size. For dessert, we tried two from the specials menus (carrot cake with various additions) which were delightful too.
Overall the meal came out around 70 Euros for 2x 2 courses and a bottle of wine. The most expensive meal we had in Mellieha but this restaurant is definitely worth a visit if coming to the area.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a more romantic place than here-Mithna :)
The service was very professional, all staff were lovely but one waitress Sharon Sant was really attentive and just great!
We ordered a tagliata to share which was cooked to perfection, very generous portions, succulent and tender, the best we have eaten meat really!aside with roast potatoes and veg(included in price)followed by delicious dessert.
Superb setting, staff, food and well a perfect evening really :)

We had a shared starter platter and I ordered a pasta dish as a main. I never would have thought to put beef slices with aubergine and red pepper in a cream sauce... but it worked!
A special word for the staff who were super friendly and accommodating to our 9-month-old. Top notch,

Wide range of very tasty food (the local rabbit dish was ace!) Slightly higher price than some of the competition but well worth it!

Expectations more than met, the food, staff and service was exceptional.
A slightly biased review as I love this place and Manuel and his team, they are truly culinary magicians and the menu reflects that, superb !!
The location, decor and ambiance are superb and definitely on my recommendation list and will always visit when on the beautiful island of Malta

My sister and I visited here yesterday for her birthday meal and we were not disappointed! The staff were all very friendly and the food was phenomenal! The garlic bread starter is absolutely delicious and then for main we shared the whole cooked duck carvery with roast potatoes and vegetables. Hands down the best duck either of us had ever eaten! Cooked to perfection and carved in front of us, and served with the most amazing soy orange and honey sauce. We also shared a bottle of lovely wine and a bottle of still water and were very full when leaving! And the meal only totalled €81 which for the quality of food and service was brilliant! I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Malta, you won’t regret it!

Dinner was delicious! We had the best garlic bread we have ever had anywhere. We both had pasta for dinner which was great. The atmosphere is romantic and very comfortable and the service was great. We stayed at the Golden Sands and there was free transportation to and from. We had a great meal and experience. You won't want to miss this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant which creates a great ambience. Even more impressive is the food. We had a amazing three course meal topped with a bottle of local white wine which was to die for. Would massively recommend.
