This is micro natural urban square in the centre of Sliema main touristic offering. From here you can go to hotels, shopping, restaurants and cafés, catch a bus, ferry, cruise or taxi or just sit and catch some breath. On its own it is nothing special, close to heavy traffic street, a bit noisy, but it has been recently refurbished and modernized with seating improved and it is possibly most useful during summer to catch natural shade under trees. Luckily they did not cut old trees as it has been done with many other places/squares like this during their renovation. It somewhat lacks some sort of content or feature (I believe there is some fountain you may barely notice), but with the offer around it becomes simply utilitarian.

Great little place to stop and relax with shops and cafe's af plenty. Lots of seating in the area and just a stones throw from the harbour. Always seems to be popular with people of all ages, many young persons hang out here in the early evening.

Close to Sliema Ferry Terminal. Stopped by for an espresso before taking a cruise.
A gelateria never uses a scoop, didn't like it 👎🏾
Ok ice cream, however the scoops were very small. I would recommed the ice parlor just next to this one. Better ice cream and bigger scoops.

Couldn't visit Slimena without visiting this Gelato seller everyday. Not disappointed this family run business was as busy as ever and their selection of ice creams were fabulous especially loved the wild berry and the nougat. This maker of ice creams using only natural ingrediants feature a new flavour everyday to compliment their everyday flavours of pistachio, caramel hazelnut, chocolate like you have never tasted, vanilla, mango, strawberry to name but a few and then of course the new flavours with well known sweets added like crunchie, nutella etc. Once you try one of their ice creams it will become your daily treat whilst in Malta, you will be greeted by one of the family who will soon recognise you and happily serve you their excellent products that also include coffee, local cakes, crepes etc.

When in Malta you MUST come here for an ice cream - it’s home made and it is DELICIOUS 😋
I follow them on Instagram so I know when the new flavours are made and I’m pleased to say I tried the Chocolate Crunchie the other night and was so pleased that the wafers were Gluten Free - I haven’t had a wafer for 5 years since my intolerance started.
I love this ice cream and when I’m in Malta I make you to visit as many times as I can .
Highly recommend

After dinner nearby looked for a nice desert. We saw this place next to another ice cream shop. Pjazza had a line of people waiting while the other shop had one or two max (and it was like that every time we went there - 4 times).
The owner were very friendly and offered to taste today’s special flavor ( every day one or two new and different flavors), and it was delicious!!! There is a film on tv in the shop showing how they make the ice cream (their son as apparently is the ice master 😉).
2 scopes with a waffle cone was 4.30€ which is a good price for a fantastic quality!
One of the best ice cream we ever had!

This is in a popular sqare just off the sea front. It can get a bit busy as it is a shady spot to have a rest in the strong sun. Loved the ice cream, very tasty.

Visited here a couple of times and haven’t tasted a better ice-cream in any gelateria than this one!
Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cone filled with their delicious homemade ice-cream ❤️

A friend was in Malta last summer and tried Ice Cream all over the place. She came back here again and again.
Now it was my time to visit this place. I love Ice Cream and this is the place to have it. Fresh, changing flavours. They all taste exactly as they are expected to taste or better.
You will also be very positively surprises. In Malta normally the service is unfriendly (to say it nice) but here, you get a smile and they make you feel welcome and show you that your are welcome to be their customer.

Late one afternoon my wife and I decided to have a treat after a day of sight seeing and getting our barings along the harbor and in Sliema area. The gelato was very good and we ate it siting under a tree in St. Anne's Square.

Spent Christmas in Malta and was delighted to find a true Gelato seller along the main harbour front in Sliema, across from where you catch the Valetta ferry just up from M&S in a lovely little seated square. The ice cream was so good we had one each day for 6 days. Got talking to the owner and discovered his Son made the ice cream on the premises, who we also met and he explained he was a Gastronomist who trained in Bologna and had won the best ice cream award several years running. The liquorice flavour is lovely, sadly they didn't have their bread flavour whilst we were there but we understand it is very good especially if like me you love good bread. Other flavours we tried and they were all excellent pistachio, coffee, cinnamon, strawberry, hazelnut, coconut, chocolate to name just a few. Well worth a visit I can guarantee you will visit more than once.

We keep coming back, and for good reason. The best ices, and the nicest people. The flavours are to die for: the fondente is the best I've ever had, and the fragole........ e frutti di bosco....... I've turned into an Italian.......go, you will NOT regret it....... sit round the tree outside of n the piazza and enjoy........

On a very hot day the selections were very inviting.
The Mango had great flavour and was very enjoyable. At 2 euro for a small cone it was very reasonable.
This is the start of a week's stay so I'm sure there will be a return visit.

After having tried few flavours, I avoid getting gelato anywhere else because I know I will be disappointed,no other ice cream comes close to theirs. I think they use real ingredients whilst other places use cheap substitutes. Unique flavours as well that are created there and can be found only there. Their drinks are also one of the best. If you fancy amazing ice cream this is your place!

After the first try I went back for a second go, three euros fifty for two scopes which wasn't the cheapest but would pay that for the tiramisu as it was amazing. Did try the pistacio and the hazelnut and would recommend all. It had a big enough selection of gelato for me, any more then I would not have known what to try. Server was polite, I agree they probably like people to make up their minds as soon as possible, probably comes from having long queues in the summer.

The quality of most the ice cream is very good, the caramel peanut was absolutely delicious although I was a little disappointed with the yogurt (it wasn't as smooth as I was expecting).
I'm only giving 4 stars because I went one day when it said it was open on TripAdvisor but actually had already closed. Possibly they have a summer and winter opening hours which were clear even at the shop when I went again.

Lovely little place where you can get your gelato fix and then gaze over to Valletta. The gelato itself is very good, but the selection was small compared to other places. Also felt we were a little bit rushed to make a decision even though they weren’t very busy. Seems like a a lot of locals also come which is a good sign.

We stopped here a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed the tasty coffees. It is popular with locals for ice creams too. Croissants were delicious as was the cake we tried.

Went there a couple of times. That means it`s good, cause you wouldn`t go back if it wasn`t would you. A good selection of Ice-Cream to chose from. Service is good. Not on the cheap side when you consider that across the road there are other places where to have an ice-cream.

Chocolate orange ice cream 😊 and rocher
Gluten free options as well.
Highly recommended at any time of the day.
