Just brilliant place! We tried a lot and every dish was really tasty! I was full already after the starters, but I couldn't leave stake on my plate - it was so amazing because of the sauce!

A very nice dinner- a steak dinner - my husband had the specialty of the day a fillet with port wine sauce and I had a classic tagliata- abundant portions and declicious side dishes. Recommended

When in Gozo we always make it a point to have dinner or lunch at this restaurant. Apart from the specials there is a vast selection of food to choose from. Staff are just wonderful and goes to make for a memorable evening.

This month I happened to go 3x for lunch with friends. The menu has a good choice of less common dishes. There is also a "Specials of the day" menu with even more choice. My range is a bit limited due to food allergies, but here there are more than enough delicious options. They remembered my gluten problem and showed up with a "safe" bruschetta, without even asking. As it is still quite windy you'll prefer to sit behind the plastic windows, but there are tables in the sun on the jetty, where ducks play in the sea. In Summer I love to dine here, enjoy the excellent fesh fish they serve, accompanied by one of their good selection of wines.

We’ve always enjoyed eating here, earlier today we enjoyed a spectacular seafood platter and the best spaghetti marinara I’ve tasted. The staff are wonderful and even brought us more complimentary garlic butter for our bread without being asked because they could see we were enjoying it. The views are also lovely, you can sit right by the waters edge.

Have visited this restaurant scores of times over the past twelve years. Food is always excellent, probably one of the best in Gozo. Beautiful setting and it never disappoints.

We had not been to this restaurant for a while as they can have large groups sitting in. But on this holiday it was enough space for us to sit down. The staff were friendly and helpful. The meal was excellent with plenty to choose from. When the food we ordered came it was well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant again.

After visiting all day Gozo Island, we saw several good ratings about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Excellent location, very romantic if you are going with your couple (like me). We ordered two starters (aubergine with burratta cheese and a fish cake and a "Caprichiosa" pizza to share. While waiting, they gave us (for free), some bread with tomato and garlic mayonnaise and a bruschetta (lovely ones). After that, we enjoyed our order, good service, quality ingredients and good amount in our dishes. Everything delicious, but we still wanted to have a dessert for both, and tried an unknown dessert for us like Cassatella Siciliana. Another masterpiece of food too. When we paid, price was good 35 euros for 2 people it is really good price-quality rating for what we have eaten. It was undoubtely the best place we have eaten in Malta. I just want to congratulate all the Ta'Karolina staff for the great night we had, and for sure I will recommend this restaurant to whoever travel to Malta.

We visited Ta' Karolina twice and both times were great. The service is very friendly, the location and the food are excellent. Sitting at the waterfront we enjoyed the local fish Lambuki and calamari. We will absolutely come back next year.

Whilst on other part of island this restaurant was recommended by 2 people we came across. As there are a number of restaurants in this location and this restaurant is pretty anonymous from a distance we thought it must be good! We weren't disappointed. Fish dish was fresh and beautifully cooked as was the risotto. Location at the edge of the bay is beautiful. Service was friendly and efficient. We met an elderly local lady later on in our trip who confirmed it to be the best restaurant in the location.

Loved sitting at this waterfront restaurant little ducks quacking on the water whilst we enjoyed really nice meal, we had breaded Brie, and bouillabaisse followed by chicken wrapped in Parma ham with wine and beers. It’s not fancy schmancy but decent food decently prices.

I keep going to this restaurant on occasions and it is simply the best...on both formal or informal occasions. They offer great food to everyone even with dietary requirements such as myself...Coeliac and lactose intolerant. Best place for view and quiet dining in Xlendi with being perfect in both Summer and Winter

This place was absolutely great, and a totally random discovery! We got off in the harbour at Gozo for our 3 hour “stop” and jumped in a taxi, supposedly thinking of visiting Victoria. When the driver heard we wanted nice food, he convinced us to change our itinerary and recommended Karolina. Situated at the end of the bay, this place overlooked the water and provided the perfect spot for a long relaxed lunch. The staff were lovely, and very accommodating even though they were busy. We watched all the food coming out to other tables with watering mouths but the highlight for us was the delicious salmon ravioli and the bottle of rose we devoured to go with it. A total seaside treat. Really great, a must if you’re over that way.
