Delicious food and friendly customer service. We got attracted to this restaurant when visiting the museum next door as we could smell the beautiful smell of rabbit cooking. It is really good... highly recommended.

Excellent view from the terrace, great rabbit stew that had a home made feel to it, but do skip the house wine and go for a beer or something else. Wonderful service.

A nice spot to get a nice view of the city. Traditional platter is a really good starter. Tomatoes and cheese were really tasty. Do not miss the chance to visit the outstanding (!) toilet :))

We had pasta and tomato sauce for a starter, chicken, veggies, and cheese for the main course, accompanied with ...read more at http://activities-eatsandtravels.blogspot.com/2015/01/gorgeous-gozo.html

By the time we reached Gozo's Citadel we were famished, and so blessed to find this quaint and charming hole in the wall (literally!). They were already out of their famous rabbit stew, so we had to settle for their sumptuous pasta: spaghetti bolognaise and ravioli. The bread was to die for and the service was prompt and perfect!

Lovely building and service. We stopped for a quick bite before rushing off for the bus. Nice little place - maybe worth checking before travelling to it that there is an option you fancy on the day as there are less food options than we assumed. A few pastas, salads, and soups. The vegetable soup was good :)

This is a lovely place to stop for lunch during a Citadel visit.
Food is freshly prepared and amazing. We had the cheese platter and incredible ravioli, with a bottle of local rosé.
You can also buy local goods in the restaurant - which we did!

A wonderfully rustic restaurant within the Gozo Citadel. Hands down the best ravioli I have ever eaten in my life. Lovely platters with local cheese, tomatoes, capers and olives with bread and local wine. What’s not to love?

Its an amazing place, very delicious ravioly and lamb and fresh bread, also there you can buy local Gozp beer, we were there with wife in December evening. Its the best place where you can eat in Victoria, Gozo.

Went for Linch today. Amazing food and service. The local Sauvignon Blanc ( Ricardo ) was excellent. The Maltese Mediterranean platter was so die for and the Goat Meat with grilled vegetables and potatoes was the best we have had in Europe ( just came off the bone ) and so tasty.
You can buy the local wine from the Restaurant for 10 Euros.
Would definitely recommend this place
For Lunch when you are visiting the Ċittadella in Gozo 👍👍👍

We enjoyed a lovely Maltese platter here for lunch and sat up on the sun terrace.
We followed the trip advisor reviews and got a couple of extra cheeses. Everything was very fresh and tasty.
Would recommend a visit!

Fantastic Maltese food for reasonable prices. The Maltese platter is excellent, so fresh. Have a fresh cheese with it too! The rabbit dishes are delicious, and the house red wine is perfect with them. If you can manage dessert, the honey ring with helwa is a must.
Great service in a nice atmosphere, we had the bells of the cathedral opposite sounding while we had our lunch. Just perfect!

Just had lunch in this lovely little restaurant right next to the cathedral. We had rabbit in wine sauce and pasta with a similar sauce. Very good!

We had fenkata (rabbit in wine) and it was very good. Portiones were just enough. Dessert with dates and ice cream was delicious. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend

My Portuguese family and I, actually only went in for a bottle of water. What happened while we were in here, I have no idea.
There was this lovely man behind the counter, he was very friendly and helpful. My inquisitive sister in law, likes to taste, smell and touch everything. We tried some of Rikardus homemade wine, it was superb. He asked us to try his bread, delicious. He then told us about the cheese that he makes, so we tried that.
Everything in this gem of a place is worth trying.
May Rikardus tradition live long and prosper.
Thank you for making our day.!

Right beside the cathedral. Can get busy - suggest worth a short queue. Shared tables. Lots of local dishes and wine. Friendly service, happy to suggest dishes. Modest price

Excellent restaurant, typical food inside the fortifications. Ancient stone building, coold even in the summer. Goood service reasonable prices. It was a nice stop ater visiting the Citadella. Local cheese and olive oil. I recommend.

I wasn't sure if this place would be authentic and done well because of its location being in the Citadel but I was pleasantly surprised with the ravioli and soup. I feel it is "home cooking" without the fancy frills. If you want a quick meal and you're in the Citadel, this is a good option.
