Best restaurant I've been to in Malta so far. Excellent food. Both the ceviche and The mussels were fantastic. My friend had the ravioli and was very satisfied as well. Highly recommended!

I go to Taproom for quiet a long time and established a very relation with most people who work there, except for one person, I dont know her name but I think she is Philippino. It all started last year when we had a booking and while we were walking to the restaurant and where 5 mintes late, this lady called telling us we were already 20 minutes late and that soon we had to arrive asap otherwise she would give our table to somebody else (please note there are always two shifts , one which starts at 6.30 or 7pm and the other one at 9pm), which we did 5 minutes later. Last sunday I arrived at 9pm with my mother and 2 tables for 3 were still available and NOT reserved, so I asked to have one of those table while she told me , its only for 3 persons, not for 2...I asked her if she was still angry at me, and with a smile she said no , so I asked again and she told me again it was not possible. 30minutes later at 9.30pm I passed in the street and the tables were still empty...so really dont get it...I went so many times and introduced many colleagues and friends there? I also have a very good relation with all other people but this lady is totally not professional , and she should know I would consume for 2 more than other people do for 3.... anyway, I decided not to go anymore when she will be working there, just because of this lady and will also advise all my friends and colleagues to do the same. really a shame, but her customer experience is 0/10 while with all the others its 10/10. Normally I never write these kind of things,especially not personal but this I had to share as I reallt feel she also takes it personal and I knoz she enoed it refusing me with my 75year old mother.

Chicken Supreme was fantastic. One of the best meals I've ever had. Absolutely recommended! Make a reservation if you want to sit on a table or you'll sit at the bar. Not bad, but just saying.

Was given a table by the door which was ok so long as other diners closed it behind them when entering/leaving as it was a cold, breezy evening. Drinks were served promptly but then a bit of a delay until order was taken. Starters were amazing. Could not fault them. Then, another lengthy delay until the mains were served. My partners was ok, but mine was cold. When I asked the waitress if that was right she said no and returned it to kitchen where it was warmed before returning to me. Not sure if this was just a blip in service or a regular occurrence, but resulted in a disappointing visit for us.

Favourite restaurant during my (only 4 days) stay in Malta. The pasta were cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Nice decor and being able to see the food being prepared was nice.

We both loved this place. My wife and I ate here on two occasions; it was our favourite in Valletta. I am coeliac (my wife not) so it’s not always easy to eat gluten free. However, the staff in The Taproom took care to ensure that my meals were gluten free and even provided gf bread with my starter. On both visits we ate at the large sharing table which is great for conversation and you can watch your meals being prepared with a good view of the kitchen. Highly recommended (and very close to 67 Kapitali for gluten free beer). Delicious food, great wine, lovely staff.

Small restaurant in great location with separate tables at front and large shared table with stools at back next to bar. Great food (pasta v good), generous portions and solid wine list. Cocktails also excellent, young crowd and mixture of locals and tourists, we went twice in 7 days, recommended. You should probably book, we were lucky as it was low season.

My partner and I ate dinner here on a Saturday evening. The pasta and risotto were some of the best we've ever had. The decor and ambience were amazing, and the prices very reasonable for what you get.

Visited here on a sunday lunchtime with my partner and two young children, who slept in their pushchair throughout! We didnt have a reservation so sat outside by the patio heater which was a nice place to people watch. Good service from the waiters. Food was top class, mussels and maltese cheese to start with pasta for our mains which was so tasty with good ingredients. They also did nice cocktails and juices. Didnt spend much time inside but looked nice decor. Nice way to spend a sunday afternoon in valletta

The settings is great, very cosy. The staff were excellent, very polite and attentive without being overbearing. The menu is limited, which is a good sign for me as it generally shows they do things well. This was certainly the case with our meal. I went for the beef tagliatelle which was excellent in terms of taste and portion size. If you are in Valetta I'd thoroughly recommend a visit

Lovely modern eatery in the walled city of Valletta. From calling to book and arriving to eat everything was very easy and straightforward. The young lady in charge of front of house was very knowledgeable and gave the perfect level of service. We had tried to eat here the night before but it was very busy and we were offered a communal table which we declined but now having seen the place and eaten the food we would happily share a table in the future! Excellent food with great service. What more can you ask for?!

Very good food and service. I had the pork belly to start, then veal and then the peach and almond tart for dessert, all of which were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Beware: must book a table. In the evening, two services: 6:30 to 9:00 and 9:00 to closing. Specialised in cocktails. Excellent local wines, red and white. Nothing bad to say about the place. Started with the pulled pork and cevice (see website for details), really tasty, cevice fresh and well balanced. Followed by truffle pasta and beef and lamb shanks. Recommended.

Tap room is my favorite restaurant of Malta! I highly recommend to visit this restaurant during your stay, and especially try the risotto!

A really nice restuarant in the centre of Malta providing fine dining cuisine and a selection of drinks. They take pride in the presentation of the food, service and selection. I would suggest to book as this gets really busy. The selection could however be more vegetarian and vegan friendly.

This restaurant was right beside our hotel and so was the very first place we ate at in Malta. The atmosphere is lovely, very chic with a high end feel, dim lighting and table service. The food was excellent; I had seabass ceviche as the starter to share with my mum and we both loved it, the herb flavour was amazing. For a main I got the beef fillet salad, and the beef fillet pieces were so succulent and juicy, it was perfect. My mum had prawn pasta which was rich but tasteful. They also have lovely leaf teas and a full bar, the service was excellent and the prices are on the higher end but the quality of food and service made it all worth the while.
