My son brought us here to sample the Pastizzies (sp) and we tried the pea filling and the ricotta. Both good, but the pea filling knocked our socks off! Great place to taste this traditional Malta Food!

We were staying in birgu and looking for a cheap breakfast. We happened to just find it. The pastries were excellent and really cheap compared to the food we had been finding in the island. We paid 7 euros for 10 items. The mushroom spinach pie was excellent - chicken mushrooms, sausage with cheese and cheese puff pastry were delicious. Highly recommended for a daily breakfast.

Just waiting for a cab nearby and spotted this local pastry shop! Surprisingly AMAZING creamy chicken pies! Definitely worth a try! Don’t miss out on it! 👍🏻

The Greggs of Malta selling very cheap freshly prepared pastries and pies. There are several on the Island all of same quality. Great stop off for lunch on the move!

Surprisingly how full you feel after one pie. Great tasty food on the go. Original authentic Fast food. Great value. You should be ashamed if you go to McDonald's instead. Quick service and he took time to explained the options

Only came across Jeff's whilst strolling back from the waterfront and noticing lots of locals queuing up. The portions are sizable, larger that some other pastizzis we had in Malta whilst hands down being cheaper too (only ~1 Euro for a large cheese one). Might depend on when you arrive but when I got there, some items were sold out so perhaps better to arrive earlier.

I heard that Malta had pastizzerias so this was an experience I wanted to try! I was excited to find this spot close to my AirBnB. The first time I visited I tried Jeff's Onion & Mushroom Pie for 1 Euro. It was warm, filling and the pastry enclosing it was light and crunchy. We liked that it was quick and easy to grab and go. The price was great too! This place does not take credit cards so save a Euro to give it a try!
