Starting by mentioning that St. Paul's Bay has never been on my mind when looking for a great restaurant on the island, this place has just changed my whole perspective. Sitting right in the the heart of Bugibba's tourist hub you would have never thought of coming across such a place with super delicious food and most of all having the most welcoming and hospitable staff. The food was literally to die for, from the starter all the way to the dessert. I highly recommend the 'Salmon Wellington'! It is also important to mention that the staff was taking all necessary safety precautions. Clearly, the owners are just giving their all to make this place the best on the island and boy they are succeeding! This is by far my favourite restaurant for seafood in Malta! Well done and thanks to all the staff at Venus, you will definitely see me again pretty soon.

Had a fantastic meal from beginning to end. The food was full of flavour cooked ti perfection also the staff were very attentive and plesent. We celebrated our sons birthday and we enjoyed every minute. I would fully recommend this restaurant. We will be coming back again.

For our 21st anniversary, we chose to eat out at Venus Restaurant. We were warmly welcomed by Roberto, one of the owners, who ensured that we enjoyed every minute of our evening. We noted that all safety measures imposed by health authorities were adhered to! Food was excellent and cooked to perfection! We appreciated their surprise to celebrate our occasion when serving our desserts 🥰 No wonder it’s one of the top restaurants in Malta.. PROSIT and keep it up !!

Venus restaurant it is one of the best restaurants in Bugibba. The seafood is very fresh, super delicious and is cozy place. Thestaffs are so kind and polite :) I really recommend the dinner experience on set menu!

We had no idea of this place but friends invited us to join with them for dinner. What a lovely place, and nice food. The service was super, nothing was too much for the local staff - especially explaining translating various dishes. Great night

We went on a thursday night for our dinner. The staffs are so friendly. We are from UK and we don’t understand the menu, the waiter explained the menu to us and we went for daily specials. The starter (octopus) was so good! I can’t imagine the taste until I really put it in my mouth!! For mains we had a seafood linguine and a mixed fish platter. We just love how they cook the seafood <3 Overall, there isn’t a reason for me to not give 5 stars as the food, the service, the environment, everything deserves a star!

Excellent, Friendly, Family run restaurant. This restaurant is amazing and a true hidden gem. They offer a special 3 course menu which is delicious but also a wide range of fish, European and Traditional dishes available. My favourite was the special dish with 3 fish- absolutely delicious. We return to visit every time we are on Malta.

The restaurant itself has a very romantic ambiance, very well kept and top professional service. The starters are amazing, the hummus dip is really tasty, not the usual kind and the bread was really fresh and piping hot. Although we were a large group all the food arrived at the same time, cooked to everyones desire. I took the soup of the day which was the carrot and orange soup which tasted amazing, really nice combination with come crunchy croutons. As the starter I had the paccheri beef cheeks, really tender and melts in your mouth 🤤 For the main course I took the beef rib eye. Arrived just like I ordered it, medium rare. Cooked to perfection. I wasn’t the only one who ordered beef, all were cooked to our likings and served at the same time. Would really recommend! Will be coming again for sure ❤️

My boyfriend an I received top quality service from Roberto, Maria and Andrea. The food was top class and tasted phenomenal. Was just a shame that we only found the restaurant on our last night! If we ever return to Malta, we will 100% be back to dine in the Venus Restaurant. Staff were so attentive by always ensuring that we were happy with the food and if we wanted any more sides. I honestly cannot fault this restaurant in any way!!! 10/10!!

Roberto, Andrea and Maria were all excellent, very attentive and keen to make sure we had the best experience possible. The food was amazing (my boyfriend and I had the set meal for two) and we both felt the portion size was perfect and the freshest seafood we had ever eaten. 100% recommend if you visit Malta and are in the St. Paul’s Bay Area. As most tourists we relied on Google map and trip advisor reviews to source a good restaurant to eat at. Our first night was a failure. The second night we went with reviews and ended up at Venus. A little family run restaurant, father and two sons. Hats off! It was spectacular and unexpected. The food was so incredibly fresh, the staff so attentive. It's not easy with a 2 year old to go out and enjoy a meal, however the staff kept her occupied and the food, I've never seen her tuck into ravioli as much ! It's really a great spot to try fresh fish and enjoy a lovely dinner with family or friends. We made sure to return twice on the holiday because when you find a good place, it's always a safe bet ! Absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to eat here a few times during our holidays thank you for looking after my family and me. A special shout out to one of the sons Andrea who waited on us on two occasions. Thank you so much for your attention and entertaining our daughter.

It was a saturdsy night and we celebrated our father s birthday at venus restaurant. As always, the food was spectacular, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was serene and calm, even though the restaurant was full. Thanks to venus restaurant , it was a night to remember.

We didn't expect such a spectacular service, the staff made us feel like we were regulars that they have known for years. Super friendly, seasoned staff and to top it all off excellent food! I don't usually post reviews but this one deserves all the glory.

We have been there end of February. Ambiance was relax, well welcome. We ordered carpaccio for two, delicious. And pasta and risotto. Was great too and quantity correct. Service could be a bit quicker but the people very friendly and passionate. Recommended.

Read the reviews and had to try for myself, I really don't know where to start.The food is exceptional,the Rabbit Ravioli starter is amazing,to follow I had Steak with Garlic mushrooms from the specials board it was cooked to perfection!The 2 brothers front of house couldn't be anymore welcoming and they are very passionate about their business,Venus will be a definite fixture everytime I visit Malta.Thank you very much for a wonderful evening.

The words that might describe this restaurant is 'Wow what a pleasure'. This is not our first time but I write reviews after 2 or 3 times. And they all have to be very good or excellent. After more than 40 years dining in restaurants around the world I can say that I am a good food critic. In my opinion the place, staff, chefs and management have managed to excel and I might say surpass customers expectations. They definitely did this to us. The meet and greet was spot on. The food was exquisitely presented and of course cooked to perfection. We had the prawn carpaccio as a starter and for mains we had a fish and shellfish platter made up there and then, ie we chose what we wanted in the platter. This included succulent oysters which I hadn't tasted any like them for about 20 years. This was all downed with a bottle of Sancerre. For desert we had the homemade delicious mille foglie. Ambience in the restaurant is suitable for everyone. I suggest you book a table as this place is so much sought after that within a few minutes it was packed. Another 5 stars point noted was that even packed the service remained excellent and still the personal service was present to each and every table. The prices for all the delicacies and wines are very reasonable and worth every euro. So final result in all areas is 5 or 6 stars. Well done to all at Venus for making our visit so special and please stay with the formula that you have created. Thank you again Paul & Rita
