What a lovely restaurant, good food and service, definitely hope to go back.Excellent tasty food. So nice atmosphere. Chef/owner make delicious mussel in wine, fish & chips and others. I really recommend. The best mussels in Malta. This restaurant must be visited. Very friendly. The owner has Pub with swimming pool as well.

We looked at about 5 restaurant menus in the area but Ocean Bar was the one that took our fancy, plus we saw a young chap eating his mussels on way past & they looked great & portion was huge. White bait to share for starter followed by mussels with creamy garlic sauce & smoky fish pie with salad. Great choice & the fish that was served to other customers looked great as well. Portion sizes were huge and bread was nice as well. Both of us are stuffed and ready to lie down 😂

Went on a recommendation yesterday and was glad we acted on it. Superb fillet of white fish accompanied by homemade chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Had to wash it down with copious amounts of Bombardier Ale, an absolute delight, so good we're going back today for the Sunday Roast.

The crispy, non-greasy fish 'n' chips is to die for! Can't wait to try the Sunday Roast. The staff is friendly and the restaurant's nautical theme is very welcoming. Certainly worth the drive!

Highly recommend, the food was outstanding and the service was great. We all ordered fish and chips (2 large and 2 kids) and the wait was minimal and the portions very big! We visited due to the great reviews online and were not disappointed!

Visited based on previous reviews and they were spot on... excellent quality food, generous portions and really friendly service. My son can be fussy, but the fish & chips he woffed down and I can’t remember the last time we all had clear plates. The chief came out and offered to make him thousand island dressing too! One of our best meals out

Good British pub food served fresh and hot by friendly staff. The best fish and chips that I have found in Malta. The only downside is that it is a small place and it gets busy in summer time.

We had the roast lamb Sunday lunch with all the trimmings and it was excellent. If that was not enough we then had apple crumble with custard. The food was to die for and the staff are so friendly. Price for the whole meal for two was unbelievable and we highly recommend this restaurant. We are definitely going again:)

To be honest the toilets were spotless but the food was another level for the price. Nothing ever too much problem Ok there was a wait so dont come here if you want KFC quickness. But quality and hospiitality is not matched. Be aware that the bill is going to be too reasonable that you wont go anywhere else. Deffo will return soon. Also caters for parties and oitside catering Dont try the rest when yoi can have the best

We went to have a fish supper for something of a change from our hotel fare just before Christmas day. The restaurant was quiet, clean and the owners very friendly and we had a lovely chat. We didnt have to wait too long for your food - I had fish, chips, mushy peas and homemade tarter sauce - all extremely fresh and tasty I loved the fact I could by a reasonable sized portion rather than far to much to eat, my son had a burger and chips which was equally as good and fresh - it was a shame they were closing for 10 days to have a well earned rest for xmas as we would have been back !

First time for me, surely will not be the last great food, I had the fish and chips and it was fantastic, all other food looked great, next visit I'll try the roast as my friend wished it would not finish for him👍👍👍👌👌👌

I just devoured the most incredible fish and chips on the island. Having tried all the other chippys on both islands, I can genuinely say that this was the best. The batter was an insanely great crisp golden brown covering the most delicious piece of cod. Highly recommended!!! Wish I waited to take a picture but genuinely just devoured it as soon as it was in front of me!

Having to pinch myself as I just had the best fish and chips I have had in years and *in Malta* rather than in the UK. The fish was meaty and cooked to perfection with light batter that did not impose. The chips were golden, crispy and fluffy - just as they should be. Bonus points for good tartar sauce and proper vinegar! Great food, perfect and friendly service. Gem of a find and worth travelling to. Thanks Mark and Paula!

Well return to the Ocean Bar and still open where alot are shut for the winter. Hours have changed but still a busy litle restaurant where nothing is too much trouble. To be honest busy or quieter the dood quality is constant but more variety out of season as the chef has time to experiment with new dishes. Really dont see how they produce excellent food for the price. Most dishes between €10 and €15 max but the fresh cod chips and peas or salad is huge with homemade tartar sauce at €12.50!!
