There is a long line of restaurants across the seafront. Hammet, I believe, is the best one! The food, the decor and the staff seem to be in another level from the rest! Drinks were kind of great too!

The place is stylish and has a vreat vibe with the music they play, staff is extremely friendly and well trained. I had a business dinner with a partner from abroad whom i wanted to impress. I can safely say that this was achieved with the sharing concept that the restaurant has and the variety in tastes that is on the menu. Also have to note that the wine list is astonishing, had a bottle of Chinon followed by an amazing French Syrah. Always would come back to this place, in fact im heading there this Sunday for brunch! Thank you Hammets!

We were slightly surprised to find this place in Sliema - it is a smart and stylish bar which has had a lot of money spent on it and which does a range of tapas style food with a lot of Asian and vegetarian options. It was busy when we visited on a Sunday evening with groups drinking and eating. There is a very extensive cocktail and drinks menu - prices higher than many other places but reflecting the nature of the place. We had a very good bottle of Maltese white wine and some expensive sparking water. The waiter was helpful in explaining the menu and advising how big the dishes were and how much to order. We had Ma-Po Tofu, spicy aubergine, taro and jasmine rice. The food was very good - I can only assume they have an Asian chef. Surprisingly good food and an enjoyable experience

We were there for few drinks. They were prepared quickly, served with heart and tasted amazing. We could also ask about the local wine and we even received the sample to try. Great service!

The menu looked impressive and interesting along with the good reviews. However, we fel that the food wasn't that interesting and worth the money. One of our dishes had ended at another table. When they found out they just moved the dish to our table. I asked if the waiter was sure that I shouldn't have a new but he insisted that it was ours even though it had been served to other people and had been sitting at their table for some time.

A short fall from our hotel was this wonderful bar, with a great vibe and more importantly great cocktails which are two for one during the generous happy hour. There are also excellent nibbles available and it's no surprise this was visited more than once. Because happy hour is quite early in the evening it may also be of little surprise that i can't remember too many other details of the venue, but I do know that when we return to Malta this venue will certainly be on the list. Happy days

Hammett's is a very trendy bar which I visited with friends mid week so it wasn't too busy. The menus caters for vegans and their are several options. The food was very good and the cocktails too. They didn't have the wine we wanted from the menu so we opted for another bottle which was good but overpriced. The service was okay but I would expect more from such an upmarket place.

Im living in the area, and have been here many times, both for coctails and for food, and i have been really happy with the quality on all of my visits. Last time i went here was together with my parents and my vegan girlfriend and all of us really enjoyed the experience. The cuisine is a mix of South American and Asian. Most dishes are in the tapas style, so to get the best experience order a number of dishes and share. We had the lampuki ceviche, mapo tofu, Korean cauliflower, yuca peruana, fried aubergine, marisco saltado, and sweet potato fries. The only dish we didn´t really like were the tofu. The ceviche and cauliflower were probably the most rated. If you are going out to eat in the Sliema Ferries area, go here.

We had been wanting to visit for a while. Whenever we go to a new (for us) restaurant we always check the wine list if available on site. In this case it was and it happened to be a well varied one and which will accompany most of the food on the menu well. We ordered a very good Corbieres (France) which was well served and stored at the right temperature. We went for Rabbit in red wine sauce which was very good and fried Korean chicken which was also good and well presented accompanied by some sweet potatos. All in all the service was good, we were given the menu immediately and our orders taken after a few minutes. The decor and ambience are really nice. The only thing I did not like was that there was a table of 3 young (English speaking) guys right opposite us and one of them was being just too loud, that I had to ask the waiting gentleman to tell him to lower his voice or at least to move us to another table. In the end we were moved to to another table as we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. Not cheap but the food is good and well presented. The French wine was excellent. Pity about the noise.

The restaurant is nicely done and it has good atmosphere with chill out music. I was looking forward to trying a couple of the South American dishes on the menu, but I was disappointed. I ordered the Pork Venezuelan Arepa and it came drenched in Aioli mayonnaise...it looked like a child had squeezed half a bottle of mayonnaise on the dish....it is too bad because the pork actually was not bad. The second dish I order was the Arroz con Pollo (Rice with chicken). Again there it was, the aioli mayonnaise, but this time it was not all over the dish, the problem was that the "chicken" was two chicken wings...really? That was again disappointing for the prices charged.

We had one of the best dinners at Hammett's Gastro Bar during our stay in Malta. The concept of sharing the food is very nicely thought and the food is just delicious. The manager, as well as the staff are very friendly and the barista is a real artist. We also highly recommend the different cocktails on their menu. We went there three nights in a raw and had a different cocktail every night. All of them were a delight to drink. Keep up the great work.

We had the most amazin9g food here on our holiday in Sliema. Beautiful restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Fabulous cocktails also. Food was so delicious with great variety. The chicken with honey butter and garlic was amazing. Also the bao bun....everything was delicious. Would highly recommend this great place.
