Great bakery in the most unlikely place imaginable. Excellent option for lunch if you're in the area and want something tasty on the go. Not the cheapest, but the quality is worth spending something extra.

I new the first Boulangerie "Grenier à Pain" in Montmartre a long time ago, and the place is totally like in Paris, such a pleasure to find amazing bread and cakes in Malta !!

So happy to have discovered this bakery! The bread were awesome (tasty, fresh, smells great). The dark chocolate tart is still too sweet (not “dark” enough) for my taste. My husband however has a sweet tooth and helped me finish it. He had the apple tart too! Highly recommended.

Purple Haze

The traditional baguettes were delicious. Crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. We also got 3 tarts/cakes which not only looked beautiful but tasted absolutely amazing. Spectacular attention to detail and quality, even the plastic “plate” the cake comes in has a little notch for your finger, to make it easier to take out of the box. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely be back soon!! Shame they don’t have a few tables to sit down and enjoy a nice lunch.
