Good place to try sea food. Welcome tomato bruschettas. Not many food varieties in the menu and mostly wine from the drinks. Be prepared to wait in the queue before any table will be free. Better to order the place in advance. Mix of seashells was ok, fried octopus could be better :) Stuff is very nice and pleasing.

Small but friendly place with very friendly stuff (I think it's a family business). We ordered spaghetti with sea food and it was perfect and delicious (bit more salt needed). One plate could be enough for two.

We ordered 3 meals of fish and chips whcih in the menu were described as 2 breaded fish filets and chips. The 2 fish filets were basically like UK breaded fish cakes, fine but not what we expected.

at here as it was at the bottom end of the promenade. It was a lot quieter than the other restaurants but still had the good view. My wife had the salmon and I had the cod fillets and we had a bottle of wine. Came to €30. Would recommend

2 of us only stopped for a glass of the excellent local wine but decided to share the margarita pizza - beautiful view - charming location - friendly service - very cheap but very good quality food ...made to order...excellent!! Highly recommend folks

One of the best places nearby. We had marinara pasta, ravioli and porcini and the waitress was so nice. Family restaurant and very cheap as the food was amazing

We tried delicious pasta with sea fruits, portions were really big, stuff kind and nice, view of the port, everything fresh and perfect, I recommend for everybody who would like to try good food straight from the sea at a reasonable price! 🦑🦐🐠

Dined here as part of large group. Service was ok. Pasta dishes were all good. I had swordfish which was lovey but my partner had the squid and found it very tough and a bit rubbery. The most disappointing aspect was that an obviously gay couple sat in the table next to us and the waiter told them they had stopped serving. This I know to be not true as many customers were seated and served after the couple left. Come on guys 21st century and all that

During our stay in Marsaxlokk we were searching for something truly authentic and local and we've found it in this little gem. It is a bit hidden - still nearly by the sea, but just a little bit separated of the towns chain of restaurants. Firstly we were there on a dinner. My girlfriend choose seafood pizza which was very nice (fresh seafood and little bit of frozen one but no worries) and I decided to go with rabbit. I wanted Malta's famous rabbit stew but it was not available so they prepared me nearly half of rabbit in garlic, parsley and white wine sauce with salad and potatoes on a side which was tasty - frankly I would eat the bones if I could. On the next we were there for a lunch. They made us deep fried squid, which was fresh and tender and I again went with Maltese classic - sea urchin spaghetti. It was my first experience with sea urchins (eating them not stepping on them off course). I thought they have stronger sea taste but I found their taste really gentle and quite tasty. Our server was the same both days and he was very friendly and attentive - also explaining why is certain food known on Malta. The prices for 2 persons on both days were 25-40€ with beverage.

We went here only because we wanted to mingle with the locals, and we ended up eating some of the best seafood dishes each of us had. We are still amazed by the taste of the food. Best dishes we had were the fried calamari and fried octopus. The burger wasn't spectacular și go for the seafood instead, also locals were really friendly.

I didn’t want to sit in all the tourist restaurants along the front of the harbour so I chatted to a fisherman painting his boat and I asked from his recommendation and he said Skuna as that’s where Maltese eat. It was just around the corner at the end of the harbour the view isn’t as pretty as the harbour ones but I was more concerned with the food and service and both were amazing. I had two courses for 12euros a simple bruschetta for starter and the main had 3 fish - Sea Bream, Swordfish and Calamari perfectly cook with a lovely crispy skin, I opted for no chips but this was huge anyway as they put extra salad and it comes with bread. I had a half bottle of rose and my bill came to 19euros with tip on top, amazing! Simple well cooked beautiful food and great service. Very happy.

Staying locally in Marsaxlokk, Skins was one of the first places we visited. The staff were lovely, finding us a table indoors as the sun dropped behind the buildings, and recommending a dish when the one I had chosen had run out. The pizza was delicious, crispy and cooked to perfection. We befriended some locals, and whilst chatting away about how good the dessert was, we were given coffee on the house! Our second visit, I decided to try the red snapper. Cooked in the oven, you can choose to have it filleted, but I chose to keep it whole. Served with roast potatoes and roasted squash, both the fish and vegetables were superb. Including a bottle of wine, two pints and my husband's pizza, the bill was an amazing €36. Definitely our favourite place on the waterfront!

When we went there they did have Spaghetti Rizzi which was nice to have since I was looking long time for trying sea urchin. And I was very happy that they where very nice to cook it different way without wine since I have bad reactions to a wine. Thank you so much.
