Small but cozy place in one of picturesque streets of Valetta good for a snack or a full evening out. Amazing cocktails (had the perfect Negroni) and lovely staff. Ana was our waitress and she was a ray of sunshine. Couldn't recommend this place more. Will be back!

Nice little place for something different. Menu contain lots of cheese dishes but you can tell them not to include cheese if you don't like it. We sat down at the basement, it's a quirky little room. I like their lighting. Their signature mojito was very tasty and I do recommend you to try it. Final notes - This is a cash only restaurant and you need to get there early because you may have to wait longer if they are busy (they cook their food fresh and it can take a bit of time)

Great little wine bar. We tried the bruscetta starter(which we shared)followed by a delicious platter of cheese and cold meats. This was all accompanied by some great wine by the glass. Friendly and informative waiter. All strongly recommended.

This is a charming eatery in one of side streets of Valletta. We enjoyed the meat and cheese platter, with mixed salad and bread. The staff were friendly and the waitress was extremely knowledgable, telling us the origin of the food and how it was prepared, which was great. Accompanied by a couple of local beers, the food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

We are staying along the street and it was the only restaurant open on the Sunday nearby. It was lovely- delicious food,lovely staff and a very talented pianist who took requests. You couldn’t ask for more on a Sunday wedding anniversary dinner! Hope to return soon.

This little wine bar is full of charm. It's tucked away inside one of the small alleyways in Valetta. The service here is warm and down to earth. Its' amazing what the chef does in the little counter next to the bar. The food he creates are yummy. He was also very humble but gracious when we paid him compliments on his food. Check the place out yourself!

If i could give a higher score than 5/5 I would. Fantastic, cozy surroundings; great music (over a well set up hi-fi system); friendly, knowledgeable staff and food of the highest quality. We'll be back!

I was very satisfied with this cucina italiana and wine bar. Great food. Specially a member of staff called Luca who is a Sicilian boy, he was very good at cooking and recommending the various foods. Can not wait to go back.

This is THE place. No joke, don't bother stopping anywhere else. Nightly live music of a wide variety, super friendly wait staff serving excellent wines and tapas. Seriously, this place is one of my favourite hangouts in Malta. Can not wait to go back.

I stopped at this place quite late on a Friday night after walking around the city. Staff were very friendly, and they made some recommendations which was quite nice. Smiling helpful waitstaff is always welcome, and with good tasting food, makes the experience even better. Downstairs of the restaurant is like a cave, a unique experience on its own, with interesting glassware. I sat outside, but sitting there could also be quite nice. I can comfortably recommend this place.

It was the classic guitarist that drew us in, a great vibe, perfect music to allow conversation to accompany good wine and cocktails which we enjoyed then were enticed by the sharing boards and could resist no longer! Friendly welcoming staff, excellent charcuterie and cheese. To be recommended.

This restaurant gets so many good reviews so maybe my wife and I just had a bad night. It is a new concept with traditional food - which my wife and I just did not like - it is not cooked but that is part of the concept I suppose. The beer was craft and not very nice, but again just personal choice. It was expensive and not memorable. The staff were nice so very surprised how rude the owner is to anyone who dares to give a bad review. People can ignore bad reviews if owner gives a measured response. I would give it a 1 or 2 really but I think maybe it was partly me not liking the concept / food - others seem to rave about it.

The freshest ingredients, lovingly prepared by Matteo Back from a few days away, and enjoyed The Rootz so much we went back. Settle down, have a drink and order from a range of bruschetta, Piadina and salads. Everything really tasty, super fresh and prepared with such care. Just fabulous.

We found this place as my husband was looking for recommended restaurants for vegetarians. It’s a little off the beaten track but well worth seeking out. Amazing fresh food, friendly team and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike! You’ll miss out if you don’t give it a go...

When I heard the live pianist I was immediately drawn towards this very cozy and charming bistro echoing in the back streets of Valletta. As I walked in I was overwhelmed by the charm of the people, especially the young lady behind the bar who greeted me with a beaming smile and a joie de vivre that I just wish I could bottle and put in every bar around the world. As I write the pianist has been accompanied by a saxophone....It doesn’t get cooler than this
